Good morning, Harry Miller Blue Bears!

Yesterday was Leap Day – and Happy Birthday yesterday to Alexa Lemire and Harrison Melanson!

These two students are very special as this day only happens once every four years. The last Leap Day occurred in 2020, and the next will arrive in 2028. Leap year birthday people are referred to as “leapers” or “leaplings”. February 29^th is a day that doesn’t legally exist so birthdays are celebrated Feb 28^th, or March 1^st.  There are 4 million Leap Year babies and the odds of being a Leap Year baby are 1 in 1461.

Today we dress for our own March Break! What are you up to?

Today is World Compliment Day! 😊

This day is to cost absolutely nothing at all – so everyone can participate! Giving a compliment is easy…whether it’s telling someone you like their shoes or letting them know they are doing a great job, it can change someone’s whole day around.

Hey Ms. Hickey – we’re really lucky to have such a great and efficient admin assistant at HMMS. Thank you for all you do for us!

Mrs. Shannon, I don’t know any other “lunch lady” we’d rather have. Our sandwiches and snacks taste sooo much better because they come from you. Thank you 😉
